On December 7, 2023, David Botstein, a member of the board of directors (the “Board”) of Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his resignation from the Board, effective immediately. The Company is not aware of any disagreement between Mr. Botstein and the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices that resulted in Mr. Botstein’s resignation.
